FOGAP 2026 Annual Day of Learning
The Minerals Council South Africa, in association with SANIRE, AMMSA and SACMA, hosted the Elimination of Falls of Ground Fatalities Action Plan (FOGAP) 2026 Day of Learning under the theme “The Climb to Zero”.
The event brought together industry leaders, practitioners, OEMs, researchers, and stakeholders committed to improving mine safety. The day focused on sharing progress, practical insights and innovation across the FOGAP pillars, reinforcing collective accountability in eliminating falls of ground incidents.
Through collaboration and knowledge exchange, the initiative continues to drive meaningful progress towards achieving zero harm in South Africa’s mining sector.
