For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment

The Minerals Council South Africa hosted an engaging webinar on 19 June to commemorate International Day of Women in Mining 2025. The event brought together industry experts, thought leaders, and academic representatives for in-depth discussions on key frontier issues, offering strategic insights to drive gender parity in mining.

Discussions explored gender-responsive transformation programmes, Men’s Forums fostering safe and inclusive workplaces, people-centred technologies for greater inclusion, and strategies to retain and advance women in the mining sector.
